Down by the Creek Bank and a Sunday Night Social

Our juniors at church tonight did "Down by the Creek Bank". It is a program by Dottie Rambo. It was the cutest thing ever!! They did such a good job! Our church did this program back in '91 and then "Back to the Creek Bank" in '93. I was in the last one. We have a lady in our church who is our old Preacher's wife. Her name is Mrs. Dolly. She is such a dear lady. She is battling cancer, and has been for sometime. She is the GODLIEST woman that I know. She never gives up and she is so special to me. She was my math teacher in Junior High and High School. Anyways, she was the one who directed the ones that our church did in the 90's. We dedicated this program to her tonight. She is very week and feeble from all her treatments, but she was able to get up and sing the last verse of the last song with all the kids.. WOW... can you say TEAR JERKER!?!?! My granny said she looked like an angel standing up there. It was such a blessing.

Bro. Gene said something at the end of the service while talking about Bro. Stox and Mrs. Dolly. It has just kinda stuck and been on my mind since then... "Never quit God, for he will NEVER quit us"... wow.. how true is that?!? We should always remember to not quit God. Bro. Gene was saying, that that was how he thought of Mrs. Dolly. She has never quit! She is such a role model!
And for the social........

Tonight we went to mom and dad's for a "Family social". We had a lot of fun and ate some yummy food..
Taylor and Me goofing off with my camera!! I love Taylor.. he is such a good future brother in law!
David and Mom cooking yummy spicy chicken bites! Yuuuuumo!

"D" and Bailey... doing what they do best!!! They love to cuddle and watch Noggin.. I am not sure what we would do without that channel!

Taylor and Haley eating.... YUP.. BOILED PEANUTS! Oh my... they are so good.. I LOVE boiled peanuts!!! Don't eat them all, hogs!

Is it good TayTay?!?!?! You look like you are enjoying it!!!

Well, that is all for me... hope you all have had a great weekend and have a good week... we shall talk to you tomorrow!!!
