It's been a few days........

So.. I am so sorry that it has been a few days since my last post. Been super busy and just not had the time to sit down and think for a little while....

I had to work Tuesday night and slept some yesterday and then had a hair appt. Decided it was time to go a little shorter. It feels sooo much better! I love to have my hair thinned.. it is so thick.. and HOT!!!
I just wanted to share my life verse with you all.. this has been weighing heavy in my heart these past couple days......

We all should just really learn to put everything that comes in our paths in God's hands... I have to remember everyday that He will never give us anything that we could not handle.. how awesome is that to know?!?!?!

Mucky Monday...

What an ICKY day...

Today is a yucky looking day... not much going on out side. I wish I could get out there and cut the grass, but it is so wet... Maybe tomorrow will look better.. It is so much cooler today though.. in the 70's. Praise God for that.. we needed a break from all that heat...


Yesterday, I decided to make lunch for everyone. We had beef stew, rice, and green beans. I think it turn't out pretty good.

Of course, I used my crock pot!! I started it Saturday night, and it was very tender!!! It was really tasty :)

Here are some sweet pictures from this morning of my sweet little "scooter". Haley stayed with us last night and she has a blow up mattress, so she brought that to sleep on. Bailey thought this was so cool.. she gets to jump on it at Nana's and now it is at her house!!! While Haley was at school , we played on it this morning!!!

We had to go out this morning to run a few errands, and so we stopped and got Bailey her favorite!!! She loves McDonald's chicken nuggets, and her favorite is FRY's!!!!!

Well, I am off to go fold some clothes.. I sure wish that my laundry room looked like it did last week at this time.. haha!

We have had a good day!! How was yours?! I am so ready for the weekend.. I have missed my hubby so much this week... :(

She loves a pen and a piece of paper... "happy face" as she says... that is all in thanks to those women at Sam's... they always draw a smiley face on the top of our receipts... so cute how they remember things...

and then I turn around for ONE second, and hear.." uh oh"... "uh oh".... this is what I find!! haha!



Now, I know that it is HOT as all get out outside, but... I could eat Veggie soup everyday for the rest of my life and be OK with it! :).... maybe that was a little stretch.. haha! But it is my favorite!!!! So I decided to make us some for lunch, my dinner tonight at work, and my lunch tomorrow.. and maybe still have some left!
I LOVE a crock pot... let me tell you! I can throw everything in there and FORGET about it!!



Later on this afternoon, after a nap, we decided to make those yummy looking muffins!!!


Poor baby.. she is mad because she can not figure out how to get it open.. haha!

Now she is examining it.. "want some" she says.. so sweet!

Here she is helping mommy stir the mix.. she is such a big helper, and I can not wait to make LOTS more goodies with her.. I love doing stuff like this with her!!!

I think someone likes the batter.. what do you think????

Oh, and then I take it from her.. she was so mad!!! She did not understand that we had to cook it!!! Can you say someone is developing a "tude"???

man... can you smell them from your house??? I was making Erin so jealous while I was on the phone with her... Well, Erin, I wish I could get one to you somehow!!! I will just have to make some more some other time!

And the final product! MY OH MY!!!!!!!!! these are BETTER than they look! They are so good! You all should really try some!!

I think she likes them and approves... what do you think????

Well, Bailey is off to stay with her Grammie tonight, and I am off to work... Parade tomorrow (hopefully minus those icky clowns) and then Nana is coming to get her!! This child is so spoiled!!!

What a CRAZY day!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was a very eventful day... to say the least. To start off the morning, we had yucky shots :( I hate having to take her to get shots.. At least we only had to get one. And now we are done till K5!! Yay! She is growing great! She now weighs 23.7 pounds and is 33 inches tall. Her iron came up too!! All in all, it was a good check up! Now we do not have to go back till March.

Here she is playing with Mr. Joe's toys!! She was not very cooperative today. I do not know if she was just tired, or if she "knew" what we were there for... when we were walking to the room, she tried to turn around and walk the other way.. so maybe she DID know what was going to happen. Poor baby.

This is her "boo boo" She did not like to have that bandaid on either.. she wanted it "off"... haha!

After the Doctor's visit, we went to Sam's... always a fun trip. Thank God she slept till just at the end... she would have been an ill little hornet! I do not have to go to the grocery store for a month!!! haha.


Tonight, Jeremy and Casey treated me to Chico's.... my absolute FAVORITE!! They are so sweet for doing that.. and it was sooooooo good.. I always get Enchilada Suisa... I never need a menu... I should start trying different things, but why mess up something so good?!?

Bailey and her Colors... she LOVES Chico's too... loves the beans!!!

Here is miss Kynnadie... their baby girl... she is so funny, and so good!!

Casey... we used to go to Chico's ALL THE TIME when we were in high school... so this is a tradition!!

Her hubby Jeremy.... doesn't he look sooo happy to be with all us women?? haha!



This weekend is the Winterville Watermelon Festival. David always has to work this for the Fire Dept. So tonight, we all decided that it was be fun to go out there and ride some rides and just walk around.. well....................................
it was nothing but HOT!!! and so muggy... I felt so yucky! The only thing we could really ride was the carousel horses.. and that was going to cost 6 bucks... haha.. NO! So we just walked around.. and I got me a funnel cake... Bailey and I thoroughly enjoyed it!!!


My camera, and Casey were not cooperating... but mainly my camera!!! hehe! Here is us with our babies... who knew that we would grow up together and so would our babies?? LOVE it!!

Here is their sweet little family.. they are such special people to David and Me.. We love them so much!! It is so good to have wonderful friends!! :)

Now, guess what I did for the first time tonight??? I was getting everything in my car, Jeremy and Casey had just pulled off to go home.. I had just put Bailey in and had cranked up the car. I shut the door and thought nothing of it. I walked around to put my stroller in the back... LOCKED!!! OK, not a biggie, I just walked around to my door to unlock... LOCKED!! OH MY!!! what in the world do I do?!? My cell phone is in the car! There FINALLY was a couple walking up to their car parked close to mine. So I asked the guy if he had a cell phone.. he looked at my like I was nuts for asking.. then I asked the girl, who was so nice to let me borrow hers. I just explained what I had done, and then SHE started freaking out.. ha. I have never been more freaked out in my life! THANK GOD that David was just inside the park and he could come let me in...

and THEN, as if that was not bad enough, I hopped right in my Tahoe, and FORGOT ALL ABOUT MY STROLLER! It hit me when I was about a mile away! So I flipped around and went back.. Thank God it was still there.. What in the world is wrong with me tonight?!?!

Well, that was about all that happened today. Going to try lots of new recipes.. I will keep you posted!!
